Five bullet Friday - issue #122

Dear Partners,

   We had a remarkable run this year in our portfolio. Due to the holidays, many folks at fund administrators are out of office. We expect to get the November statements early next week.

1. Since October was a high, we recommended many investors in RCIF 1 to roll-over their gains to Carbon offset bonds.  A total of 30 investors have chosen to roll-over their gains into COB or moved their gains into RCIF 2. The total amount invested in aggregate from all these 30 partners is $2,225,971. The total amount redeemed by these partners in total is $17,093,174.  Some of these funds moved into RCIF 2.

2. How did our performance compare to other funds? Bloomberg magazine did a thorough analysis in this article. The best performing hedge fund according to them gave 75% return. S&P 500 returned 29%. Only 3 hedge funds outperformed S&P 500! In contrast, RCIF 1 has returned 490.57% in the year 2021 YTD. We beat all the funds by a huge margin. Our final results for December are not known, but our latest numbers still beat all the funds.

3. Out of the 30 partners who exited the fund, the average return was 668%. Our median return out of these 30 partners is 230.71%. These returns were achieved in a period of one year to 18 months. Those partners who added money when our monthly numbers are in red, are the beneficiaries of the growth. Whenever our fund drops by more than 20% in a month is the time for you to add additional money.

4. We have tracked our performance upto October 30th of this year. RCIF 1 was launched on October 1st, 2017. $100 invested in RCIF 1 has grown to $2808 whereas the same amount invested in S&P 500 has grown to $182. I am pleased with the results so far. I am expecting much better growth next year.

5. We continue to earn good staking income from KLIMA and OHM protocols. We are currently earning 361 KLIMA tokens per rebase. In a day, we collect 1083 KLIMA tokens. At the current market price of $280, we are earning around $303,240 per day. KLIMA already absorbed 15 million tons of carbon offsets into its treasury. Similarly, we are earning around $219,600 per day from OHM. Overall, I am bullish for most of the tokens we hold in our portfolio based on the fundamentals I am tracking.
